Gum Graft success
I was referred to Dr Sirinian by my dentist Dr Murphy when she saw that I needed a gum graft. I had orthodontia twice and they think that loosened my gums. Let me tell you, I was very nervous about the surgery.
I was given several options for pain and opted for Halcion taken orally. I waited for it to kick in on the day, and it just wasn't. So then I was given a valium and all was right in the world. I totally appreciated that because I don't think I could have gone through the surgery as I was. As a result, the surgery was very easy. I actually did not have much pain afterward and no bleeding. It was a very easy recovery, relatively speaking. A lot of people described horror afterward.
And the end result is good. Whew. I might need a graft on the other side of my mouth, but I will not be at all nervous next time around and I will go back to Dr Sirinian. He has excellent bedside manner.
The only blip I had was the staff mixed up my insurance, but it was straightened out pretty quickly. Not what I needed on the day of surgery though.
