Typical bad contractor behavior
The kind of business to avoid.
I left a message over a weekend to call me. They called back on that Monday to discuss the products. I spoke to Rick. It was agreed that they come out to my house in 2 weeks so that my wife would be there to meet and bring hardware samples so that we could speak intelligently and pick exactly what we wanted. We wanted a modern cabling system stair rail with a unique wood hand grip. On the day of the meeting a guy named Chuck came over. He had no notes; I said where the guy I spoke to is. He said he didn?t know, ?They didn?t have your phone number". I said where are the notes from my phone call, "I don?t know anything about it". So what are you here for? "I can take measurements? Can you tell me about cable stair systems? "No, I don?t do cable stuff, i only do wood". Before my next question, his phone rang, my wife and I needed this day for this discussion and this guy is sitting on the phone for the next 5+ minutes as if I am not standing right there in front of him. I call the office and get Rick on the phone. After I said I was expecting him with our notes and samples, he said that they would take measurements, work with me over the phone and design a solution after I committed to doing business with him. I said how long before you do something with these measurements, he said "By Monday I can call you" this was Friday.
It is now a week later, and no call and obviously no interest in doing business.
You would think that with the amount of competition out there, companies like this would learn how to use a phone, a calendar, and an appointment.
