We have been seeing Dr Colombo for two years and are about to add another client to his list. He has always been extremely easy to deal with and works very well with our little one. We have never had to wait to get our daughter in and the weekend service that they offer is fantastic. I have always felt assured and comfortable with his skills as a doctor and am happy to have chosen him.

We were very excited to go to Sierra Pediatrics because I had taken a couple of my previous charges to see Dr. Columbo. He wasn't available for a prenatal consult for the 6 weeks prior to my due date, so we arranged to meet with Dr. Remington, a partner he had in his practice. We thought it would be good. I was uncomfortable after our consult, but stuck with it thinking I was being a typical hormonal pregnant mom. In the hospital, Dr. Remington was rude and very short with us, and insisted she had given us different information at our prenatal consult than she actually had. She also said that my son's eye goobers were a sign that he could have a brain infection and we were wrong not to have given him the eye drops (which she previously had told us that she didn't care what we got in the hospital and that the eye drops interfered with her exam anyway.) She also insisted we stay another night because my son "Wasn't nursing well" when in fact, he was. We were very unhappy with her at that time. When we went for our 3-day appointment, we waited 1 1//2 hours past our appointment time before we were shown a room, then another half hour before I finally went into the hall to see what was taking so long. At first, she had told me to nurse him if I needed to when we were about 30 minutes past our appointment time, and then when I talked to her when my son needed to eat again she said "NO! He can't eat before a circumcision!" She was extremely rude and unprofessional, didn't listen to me at all and was defensive and abbrasive in her words. I refused care because at that point I wouldn't have let her touch my child, no matter what she said. She would not let us speak with Dr. Columbo and was later overheard by my mom giving him a sob story far from the truth of what happened while she cried on his shoulder.

But Dr. Remington is horrible! I would not only NOT recommend her, I would highly advise you don't even see her at all! It was a very bad, very scary experience!

Dr. Colombo is wonderful. We have been seeing him since my son was born. He is gentle, informative, patient, and has a great bedside manner. He provides you with questionnaires/information at the end of the Well Baby appointments that help you gauge your childs progress and development and lets you know what to expect at the next appointment. He never rushes you when you have questions. His office is clean, the staff is kind, and there is ample parking at the building. I would absolutely recommend him to others.

Dr. Colombo is great, he's a very caring doctor who takes his times with his patients. We have been with him for over 3 years and have never had any problems getting right in to see the doctor. It's so nice to finally have a doctor for my daughter that takes the time and truly cares about her and how she feels. As well as inform us as parents on what to expect and how to handle certain situations.

He is a wonderful doctor!
