I saw Dr Yamato for almost two years, and I was very happy with his care. I didn't care for some of the other doctors at the group, and I would make sure that I saw him whenever I came in. He listened to my problems, and never belittled me as some other doctors can. I would definitely recommend Dr. Yamato!

We've had Sierra Doctors as our primary caregiver for several years. Once we discovered Dr. Sewell, we have requested him for appointments whenever possible. If you need coddling, Sierra Doctors is not necessarily the place to be. But if you want honest medical care, we have found Dr. Sewell to be thorough, kind and knowledgeable. He always offers options for treatment, never seems rushed (though you know he has other patients waiting), and comes across calm and personable. I'm sure the other doctors who have been there for years offer the same service.

My 2 year old daughter had an issue and we scheduled an appointment here. The nurse was totally rude to my husband and they were irritated that my child was crying. Uh, she's 2 and scared! The nurse laid hands roughly on our daughter and denied it, and then the Dr. asked accusatorily was she ALWAYS like this and what is wrong with her! They showed no understanding for a 2 year old crying and my husband almost walked out. This is not okay. We will NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS go there again. My daughter was traumatized and is still recovering!

Well I had to come here, because all the doctors in my area were not taking new patients. At first, I wasn't too impressed. Then I realized it is not your average Doctor's office. It is also a urgent care, and has a sterile room for emergencies. The staff is friendly and not stuffy. Do to them taking walk-ins there are times that my appointments ends up running late. I may end up sitting there for a hour or so. Then again, I have also been a walk-in patients so I have been on both sides and feel they are fair. It is convenient and I really enjoy Dr. Haneffant, she is wonderful. I wish there was a bit more privacy there though. When women have their yearly exams done, there are no curtains in the room to block the door should the Dr. need to come in or out. All in all, I would say they are ok, not the best, but not the worst.

If you want to be belittled, treated inappropriately, left in a blank room to wait for hours on end, treated on the phone as if you were not only a moron, but a senile moron, try Sierra Doctors. They will be glad to feed your masochistic tendencies by never returning your phone calls, never taking the trouble to understand what your problem is, never showing the slightest interest in you as a person. I cannot accuse the doctors of incompetence, but their treatment of patients (should you be lucky enough to see a doctor) is indifferent at best. This is an establishment which does not deserve the term medical.
