I work at a GM dealership and so I figured that I wouldn't be taken advantage of here. How wrong I was. The salesmen are not knowledgable about their product, and the sales managers all talk like they are on your side but then they try to screw you on the interest rate or on some feature of the car. I think the thing that got me the most was that my window sticker was not given to me (they threw it away) and then they lied straight to my face telling me that my truck did not come equipped with keyless entry, which I couldn't verify by myself because they had (conveniently for them) thrown away my window sticker that has all of that information. So I took my truck to the service manager at the dealership I work at, who then verified that the truck did if fact have keyless entry. He programmed two remotes for me so that I could prove to Sierra Chevrolet that it did have it so that they would give me my remotes. When I went back in and showed proof, all they did was tell me that I didn't pay for keyless entry, that the truck didn't come equipped with it and all they would do is give me two used remotes that only had lock and unlock, not a panic button like it should, and he wanted me to feel grateful for him because he was apparantly "giving" me two remotes "for free". Honestly, I don't even know how this dealership is still in business. If they treat a fellow GM employee in this matter, I don't even want to know how they treat all of their other customers who may not be as knowledgable about the product.
