This is the first place I ever tried Thai food which has to be around 20 years ago now and has set the standard. Unfortunately, all other Thai food I've had pales in comparison. Their Shrimp Pad Thai is peanutty not fishy. The spicy Tom Yum soup with shrimp is also my favorite; a bowl will feed four and especially hits the spot if you have a cold and need a good homemade soup. My friends have enjoyed the curry dishes but I always order the same thing. The atmosphere is pretty low key but the service is great and they also have a lunch buffet on weekdays. The locals love it and the prices are low. It is at Sheridan and Leland and they have their own parking lot. They used to be across the way on the other side of Leland where the Siam Rice and Noodle is. They may be the same family because the recipes are very close. I try to alternate between the two and have been going to them for since the late 80's. You must try them. Do yourself a favor.‎
