Dr. Shoquist ordered a custom set of hearing aids for $2995 that were mysteriously destroyed in the mail. But, not to worry, Dr. Shoquist had a pair of Lyrics right off his shelf for me to try and never mind that the price was subscription-based which would far exceed $2995...he would work that out later.

The Lyrics didn't work for me and I returned them within the 30-day trial period and asked for a refund. Shoquist said I would have to wait 30 days until he got his money back from the manufacturer. After several persistent demands, he finally wrote a refund check on his personal account which bounced and he cannot be reached for comment. I checked with Lyric hearing.com and they do not even list him as a provider. Shoquist is a predator, taking advantage of people who do not know how to fight back. This is not an isolated case. Conduct your own due diligence before dealing with this person. Here are some publicly available reviews:

Purchased hearing aids with a turn-in of old hearing aids, took new hearing aids back and was told that the old hearing aids were not received. Elderly and on a fixed income I now have to wait the 30 days for a refund and I do not even have my old hearing aids.
