Been with Dr Sherman for over 10 years--actually found her in the phone book. The office is extremely clean, organized and there is never more that a 5 min wait to get in office (and then they apologize for the wait). On top of that she is a great Doctor- she actually saved my life- I had an acute Pulmonary Embolism with very minimal symptoms but she figured it out anyway and got me to the Hospital. On top of that the Doctors at Mt Sinai all seem to know and respect her, which make a big difference. I have referred a lot of friends to her and 2 practices in her building, OB/GYN and pediatrician (not affiliated but run the same).

Dr. Sherman is a lovely concerned woman and a marvelous doctor. She will take all the time that you need (you will never feel that you are rushed) and she is knowledgeable and skilled.

I have been Dr. Sherman's patient for 9 years. She is a very caring, attentive, and intelligent. She is always available when I'm sick or if I just have a question.
I highly recommend her to any of you out there who are looking for a great New York City Doc.

CONS:

Dr, Sherman was a very pleasant lady who did a thorough exam but seemed a little nervous at what she was doing. We spent a long time talking: about my family, about my education, about the world, but not that much time on why I was there. Though she did do a pretty thorough physical exam at some parts it seems like she forgot some things and would go back and redo. It didn't give me a lot of confidence. Nice lady though, but would give her a couple of more years before I go back.
