I've been going to Dr. Johnson for years now, and he is by far the best veternarian in south florida (even though I've not been to all of them :-) ).
This office is not about loading your animal up with drugs to make money like many of the other vet's offices. They provide the best loving, wholistic care possible, and try to do as much as they can, naturally! They truly care about the animals!
I've actually seen Dr. Johnson perform miracles on mine, and friends pets that saved their lives!! He's awesome.
I volunteer with a pet rescue. I brought a dog in that I found just to check if it had a chip - they checked, and also did a check for worms because they were concerned about me bringing this dog into my house with my personal pets! They did this FREE OF CHARGE!
They office is exceptionally clean, and the customer service is awesome.
I recommend this group of doctors to all of my friends. They are truly the best!

I don't know what the guy before me is talking about. I've had nothing but good experiences with Sheridan West. The staff is always helpful and friendly. You can tell that they all truly care about the animals they treat. They have three wonderful doctors and are always accomodating. Maybe he should have asked for a written estimate of services before he had his pet treated there! Anytime I am going to have one of my dogs go through any type of special procedure, they have always provided me with an estimate and they usually come pretty close to the bottom line. It's always best to get something in writing, especially when going through a tramatic situation, such as an injury or illness with a beloved pet. Sheridan West is a beautiful facility, always clean, never that "odor" like in some other hospitals. They also have a holistic vet there now, which is an added bonus and not offered by most clinics. Try them!

These guys price gouge! They tell you one price and change it after the procedure is complete. When I refused to pay more than what was agreed, they threatened to hold my pet and call the cops. I made them call the cops and I got my way. The Ofiice Manager and Dr. Bieber are not very nice people.

Recently, my beloved cat, Panda, of almost 19 years took a turn for the worse. He's been on thyroid medicine for some time now but has been doing alright. Never a big eater, about 2 weeks ago, he began dropping weight and became very lethargic. I brought him in to Dr. Gerald Johnson, truly believing that I was going to have to make a very hard decision and put him down. Dr. J was very optimistic and started giving Panda fluids and put him on antibotics. He then gave him something to stimulate his appetite. He's been doing much better the past 4 days, now eating on his own and has gained 6 ounces back. I'm not sure how much longer I will have Panda with me, but I am very grateful for Dr. J giving me more time with him. Panda is coming back home with me this weekend! I just want to add that everyone at the hospital has been great. They are always helpful and have gone out of their way to help me and Panda. I will always be grateful for everyone's help and caring.

The Doctors and staff at Sheridan West Animal Hospital are some of the most wonderful and caring people. The staff is warm but professional, the doctors knowlegable and caring. I have a multipet household and they are able to meet all my needs. They have a Doctor that specializes in reptiles and even a holistic Doctor. The hospital is clean and welcoming and in a convenient location for me. I would highly recommend them.
