Overall: I had a very positive experience at Sheppard Kenny. I injured my back tow-surfing and they fixed me right up. They are used to dealing with extreme sports accidents (their clients include Rob Machado, Taylor Knox etc.) and made me feel right at home.
It was my first Chiropractic experience and the the chiropractor took the time to explain what he was doing and why he was doing it. I left with not only my back feeling better but also with an improved understanding of my back and what they do to fix it.
I haven't experienced the billing issues faced by a previous reviewer, their office seemed very organized and efficient but I'll update my review if I run into any problems.
Value: I'm not sure what typical pricing is for Chiropractors but they charged me around $120 per session and I was completely healed after just two sessions and haven't had any back issues since my sessions which was over 3 months ago.
Service: Very friendly and knowledgeable. Took the time to teach me about what had happened to my bad and how they fix it.
Quality: The office was very well kept up, clean and modern. The equipment was state of the art.
Pros : friendly knowledgeable doctors who do a good job
Cons : pricing may be a little high, but I don't have anything to compare it to since this was my first chiropractic experience
BEWARE. Billing department is disorganized and not automated -took weeks to figure out that I DID make my co-payments as they had to search through paper receipts.
Service: Poor. KS will charge your insurance for 15 minutes but spend 3 minutes with you. He'll crack your back and neck and charge for a quarter hour - then stick you on a rolling pin table for the remainder of your session. I'm paying for Chiropractic CARE not a table massage an object.
Pros : usually on time-since he doesn't give everyone the full time he's charging for.
Cons : Overcharging for time and service to my insurance-he was dropped from my carrier, but opened up under an new company name.
Billing department is one disorganzied woman using PAPER FILES, no computers.
Price Range : $50 - $100
