I have been a patient of Dr Shawn's for over a year, and I have not been able to switch docs due to insurance reasons. I have been to him 4 times this year and have been VERY unhappy. Reasons are:

1. Never helps after hours - not even returned calls when paged.
2. Staff is just rude and obviously doesn't like to work there.
3. He has never known what was wrong with me, and there have been 4 different things wrong on those 4 occasions. Always the same - antibiotics!
4. Does not do an actual exam -- diagnosis from across the room?!5. Tries to sell his Botox treatments, back adjustments, diet plans, etc.
6. Cannot get appointment when you are actually very sick! Have had to wait for 4 days, and been to the walk in clinic and /or er room because he couldn't fit me in.

Please keep looking, and do even waste your time with this office.

My husband has been going to Dr. Shawn for many years and finally after complaining about the crappy doctors I kept picking, he finally convinced me to go to him. Very professional, good office staff. If I have an issue, they can usually work me in within 1 day. He always asks about my husband and doesn't make me feel rushed. He also does F.A.A. exams if you want to be a pilot of a commercial aircraft. I do recommend him.
