They help you!‎
Great people. Quality products. Experienced mechanics. Every time I go in they focus is on what I need, not forcing a sale. Highly recommended.‎

They know stuff!‎
This shop is more than a bunch of bikes for sale; the staff's expertise is top notch. I had a bike fit appointment with Dave, and I was able to eliminate my knee pain. I also learned a lot about what the proper position should feel like on the bike. One of the mechanics, Nathan, is a veritable encyclopedia of cycling: history, models, parts, tools, you name it. I also really like that this shop hosts Specialized demo events--no tooling around the parking lot, you can put road and mountain bikes through their paces (and yea, on real dirt for the MTBs).‎

Great service, great price, great people‎
After moving to Roseville, I found that there were quite a few bike shops within a reasonable driving distance, but The Hub and Sharp were the closest. After visiting The Hub and not having a particularly good initial impression, I went to Sharp, and have stuck with them ever since. The staff is great, knowledgeable, and helpful. The pricing is competitive with other bike shops. There are group rides to suit any rider's skill level (from beginner on a cruiser to racers) as well as a monthly tech class teaching the basics (how to change a flat, etc). They will take care of you!‎

Sadly, I concur‎
The story I could tell would be too much to risk. I could be marked for assassination. The thing is that he is still in business, so clearly some people can bring themselves to follow him to the cash register (POS computer). My guess is that some people think that his personality is an indication of his expertise. I assure you that this is marginal at best. As a consultant in this field (retail specialty shops), I could list "don'ts" all day long. That is from the standpoint of working their or investing in his business. To the extent that you invest when you buy a product you expect to be supported, be very careful about what kind of after-sale support you expect. You might be ok, but if you have really any knowledge above that of an absolute beginner, you may have (perfectly reasonable) expectations that will disappoint you when you find out the hard way. IT's very hard to advise on what to do because he does have some exclusive dealerships (certain brands will not ...

Beware!!! Horrible Customer Service!‎
I have to tell you, i was so irritated by the person at Sharp's Bicycles, that I had to come home and write this review. Ive never been insulted the way this person did at Sharp's Bicycles. I made mention of the overpriced bikes they had in their inventory and rather than seek a solution to help me, he told me "good bikes are expensive" and then proceeded to turn his back on me and walk away. I think anyone that has a retail establishment needs to take classes in dealing with the public. My worst experience ever, by far! Sharp's Bicycles is HORRIBLE!‎
