I love Shaggy Doos they are the best and have been voted #1 for 2 years running they are always finished in 4 hours or less! The only time it takes longer is the week before Christmas because they are so busy and that should say something about how good they are. The last comment was uncalled for, it was dated three days before Christmas I can only imagine how busy those girls were and I have been in there during the days before Christmas they barely stop to breath just to get every dog done before Christmas. Most friendly people are just grateful there is people who do this kind of job because working with animals is a tough job. I thank the hard working groomers at Shaggy Doos!

We made an appointment for our dog on 12-22-07 and were SHOCKED to learn that an appt. doesn't mean the dog will be groomed at the time you make it for. They told us it'd be four hours! Well, we needed him groomed and said it would be okay. So, at 4pm (4 1/2 hours later) we were told it'd be 6pm before he'd be ready. They said they were just too slammed. I just want folks to know that even though this groomer may be good, it is not worth it to leave your dog in a smelly cage all day long like that. We don't know if the groomer is good or not, because my husband just now went to pick him up, and we'll wash him on our own. Very disappointing experience, and probably equally so for our dog too. If you make an appointment, the grooming should occur at that time - absolutely ridiculuous!
