In 2000, I had a hernia repaired by Dr. Zaragoza at the local outpatient surgical center. He was a very attentive doctor at all of my pre- and post-operative appointments as well as at the surgery itself. He speaks in a gentle soft voice and makes you feel so safe. He was careful to make sure I had as little scarring as possible so that I wouldn't need any follow-up work and he did a fabulous job! I was so pleased with his work that when I had another hernia 3 years later (in a difference area), I went back to him again...and again, he did a wonderful job! His office staff are wonderful people as is his partner.

My husband had to have an emergency appendectomy a few weeks ago. Dr. Shachner was a skilled surgeon, as well as having a terrific bedside manner. My husband was out of the hospital within 24 hours and has very mimimal scaring. In addition, Dr. Shachner's office staff was fabulous! They were caring and helpful. If I ever need another surgery, he will be my first call!
