Painless Alterations
My uncle had about a gazillion suits. When he died, my aunt gave all of his suits to me as I was just starting my new job and didn't have a single suit of my own. The problem was that my uncle was 6'2" and I'm 5'10". But these were really nice, high quality suits...some of them he had done at a haberdasher - real high-end stuff. So it was worth it to get them altered. (And way cheaper than buying all new suits.) My next door neighbor recommended Sew What and since I never used a tailor in this area before, I went with her recommendation. So glad I did. These ladies know their stuff. I walked in there with 11 baggy suits and came out looking like James Bond. The suits look like they're made for me. And it didn't break my bank either. It was about what I was hoping to pay. Highly recommend Sew What to anyone who needs an alteration of any kind.

Getting What You Pay For!
Sew What is a great little shop with a lot of flair. The cost of getting a dress altered there is a bit on the high side, but Lea and Debbie add a lot of artistic touches and the finished product is consistently beautiful.

The store itself also has a lot of treasures for purchase including purses, scarves, wraps, and other neat items. These you can find at a reasonable price and I was impressed with their small selection.

Overall I would recommend Sew What to anyone looking for a good, timely seamstress. Expect to pay for the quality of service, but also expect a punctual, perfect result!

What a great place!
Leah and Debbie are great! I came in with a shirt I wanted copied with different material. They created a pattern and it was perfect! They even fixed the rips and tears in my sons shorts. They were friendly and knowledgeable. I will come back to them EVERY time.

So I picked out my patterns and fabric and when to them with a vision and an idea. With their skills, imagination and eagerness to please their customers, I walked out with a BEAUTIFUL nursery of my dreams!!!!

Sew What Tailoring
It took 4 months for a professional linen store to make the custom sheets I required for my bed. I went to Deb and Lea , it took only 1 month and they fit better that the professional linen store's sheets. I have taken my designer delicates to be taken-in as they were purchased too large, Lea altered them to look new and made then fit perfectly. Last year I took my bathing suits in to repair the stitching in the spaghetti straps, not only did they match the color perfectly, I could not detect the alteration. Sew What Tailoring 's work is of the highest quality an I will only entrust all my sewing and tailoring to them. I'm convinced Deb and Lea can do anything.
