i was going to see my daughter new home and got lost pulled in front of this bakery sensational bites wonderful i love sweets glad i got lost now they are going to do her shower cake ad wedding cake . l love the cupcakes when abby comes home i have her bring cupcakes .mmmmm just thinking about them you must go to see what im talking about wonderful ..................................................mmmmm

My fiance and I stopped in last Thursday after a delicious dinner. We wanted to get a desert for later. When we entered we were greeted by a rude nod from the girl behind the counter who was sweeping and did not stop sweeping until we bothered her for a cupcake. There was no thank yous, no eye contact, she was down right miserable. My cupcake and brownies were very good, but I will not go back there. Maybe she just hasn't worked in retail long enough to learn how to hide her disdain in working with the public.

This place is a find! Cookies and scones to die for. I have ordered the german chocolate cake for every event. I normally hate icing because it is too rich. This is the perfect combo of sweet and not too heavy. You can custom order them too! I recommend to everyone, even the dessert picky eaters.

I love this place, it's anything but ordinary! Seriously, for a dessert shop (and trust me, I've been to them all) this place is great. I think their chocolate cake is to die for; chocolate cupcake with the cute flower frosting is the best! I also like the "Touchdown" cupcake and the Boston Cream Pie cupcake, delicious. Cute boys, yummy cupcakes, fun atmosphere, we love coming here! They have a huge variety, I attempt to try something new each weekend, but always divert back to the best cupcake I've ever eaten... CHOCOLATE! My next venture at this place will be the huge cinnamon rolls or rice pudding!

If you're strolling down Southport and your stomach is growling for a sweet treat, this will do just fine. Their cookies are pretty good. I thought their cake was DISGUSTING (too much frosting, not enough cake, so sweet I thought I might gag). This is a plain old bakery, not a true pastry shop, so it's the usual cookies, muffins, cupcakes, etc. It's a step up from Dominicks or Jewel for sure, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. The girls that work there are super friendly, though, which is nice.
