The Showroom in Tribeca is such a beautiful, tranquil space away from the busy streets of NY. I went in with a friend who is also engaged and we both found our dresses the same day!!! We had made an appointment for the regular collection but were surprised to find they would be having a sample sale later on in the day. I got a fantastic dress from the sample sale that was originally $8500 but I paid only $2600. My friend had a little more time so she bought a dress from their new collection that has amazing details but really accentuates her body, her dresses are gorgeous and beautifully made. I think the next sample sale is on the 24th/25th of October, you must check it out!!!

After visiting many top bridal salons around the city, I can say that the service is average. They certainly do not make you feel like you are just another bride on the schedule (like Vera Wang with her dirty floor samples and 20 other ladies trying on at the same dress at the same time as you), but the dressing rooms are a little small and the staff is a little dry. It is all worth it for the unique selection that she offers. For a bride who wants something a little different and edgy, yet still elegant and sophisticated this is the place for you. Your friends will not be wearing a similar version of your dress at their weddings 6 months later. She custom makes each dress to fit your body perfectly and will give you her honest opinion of what looks best (instead of just telling you what you want to hear, like Bergdorf's does). With each fitting I have become increasingly more excited to wear what she has created for me. I highly recommend a visit.

It floors me that anyone would go here for wedding dresses, the experience is all around uncomfortable as the designer is uptight and silent for the most part untill the actual bride asks questions in which case she gives condecending yes answers to you.

The ebsite hasnt been updated in a while so dont expect to find many of the dresses you see there actually in the store. Over all clothing is poorly made for the price, sales people are again; condecending, and the designs sure look like Vera Wang....5 years ago.

I had the most amazing experience buying my gown with Selia Yang. I visited the store 14 months ago - I had seen her store on 9th street, but I went down to the Tribeca showroom. Like most NYC brides, my first dress stop was at Kleinfeld, which had a very nice stock, but I was a little overwhelmed. Upon walking into Selai's bright, airy showroom, I knew we were in the right place. I tried on a dozen gowns that I would have loved to have worn for my wedding, but eventually decided on a tank style dress with beading (on website it's the Divine Dress). Selia and her whole staff were attentive, friendly, and willing to spend as much time with us as we needed. My mother and I both felt so at home there. I ended buying my wedding dress, a cocktail dress for my rehearsal dinner, a dress for my brother's wedding and a cute cotton day dress - each one of them got so many compliments!!!!!!! So many people said they had never seen such a beautilful dress, or anything like my dress. Her dresses are perfect for the NY'er looking for something that is not the typical princess-y dress, but for something elegant, classy, and chic. The materials used in her dresses are exquisite. We also got my veil, earrings, a comb, and a light wrap - one stop shopping here - it was like having a personal stylist. I can't say enough good things about Selia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was a little nervous when I started my bridal search. I was comfortable from the moment I walked in and the dresses were beautiful. The quality of the gowns were immaculate. I ended up buying the third dress I tried on. I just knew it was perfect!
