Very unhappy
We went in a couple of days ago to purchase a tool box. We purchased the one we thought was in the ad but realized there was another one better made for the same price. While still in the store we asked if we could get the other one. At first they told us no. Then told us well if we cancel the lay away it would charge us $5. I told them that was unacceptable. We went through 3 different people and 30 minutes before they could figure out how to do it. So they made sure they had the product in stock and rang us up for the new one. We paid our down payment so another family member could go in today and pay the rest and pick up. They told us there was not one is stock but we could have the floor model. We are fine with that except it has dents in it and won't discount it. I am completely disatisfied with our entire experience. So now we can pick up 1 part of the tool box and go back in Jan to get the rest. Great Christmas present to get half your gift when that is why you put the item in lay away because they guarenteed us they had the product. Hire employees who know what they are doing and get a manager who knows customer service

Every time we go in there is always an abundance of employees to help and answer any questions that you may have. If for any reason they don't have anything in stock, the will always order it for you asap. If you want to buy any appliance, lawn maintenance item, tool, paint or hardware then I would highly suggest you go here because you will actually get help.

This Sears Hardware store is right across the street and it has all of my hardware needs right there. Even though this store has been there forever and it is as old as dirt, it is the most convenient and helpful place. This isn't like the newer Sears that sell games, clothes, and jewelry. This is the true man's hardware store where you can find everything for your lawn and garden and whatnot.

Old Town Hardware store by Andrew P. at InsiderPages
This might be as old town as we can get in Katy. It is so neat to be able to go in and ask any question and almost anyone can answer it. The customer service is always exceptional and their sale prices are great! Join the Craftsman Club and get even better deals! I love ot go in there!
