I could have a pediatrician in La Jolla but happily make the trek to Carmel Valley to see Dr Gould. When we were living overseas, it was difficult to find a Dr that would see us while we were in the US for visits. I went through a couple of Drs prior to Dr Gould. It's a long story.

I like that there is a well waiting room and a sick waiting room. No need to risk catching something if we're just seeing her for vaccinations. The only time we ever had to really wait was when my daughter broke her foot and they had to squeeze us in for an appointment. Oh and if that ever happens, there's radiology downstairs so no need to leave. That also being said, you'll have to go to Children's Hospital for a cast.

I needed once to pick up medical records in a hurry. I thought it would be a nightmare but they were ready within minutes and I was in and out of the building within about 10 minutes. Great service.

Informative and great with kids. We love him!
