Buying a home in Scottsdale is usually more expensive than Mesa, Chandler, Tempe, or Phoenix - but I think that it is worth it because you get to be in the Scottsdale school district. They have great teachers because teachers want to be in Scottsdale. Students are well prepared in this district.

PROS: Great school district
CONS: It's a little more expensive to live in Scottsdale than surrounding areas

Scottsdale schools are the best. We went to Tavan Elementary, and the teachers are incredible. They are very talented, educated individuals. My kids have learned so much at this school! The school has been recently remodeled, and is beautiful.
