DUPED BY THEM LIKE THE REST...
After reading all these reviews, I sound familiar. Same store. They delivered the wrong furniture. Made me pay upfront for more expensive furniture that they promised to deliver in ten days. New and more expensive furniture did not arrive until today, two and half months later. Guess what? They won't take the wrong furniture back because the chair had a spot on it. They left in our house for over two and half months, it was scotch guarded, supposedly, by them and they charged us for it, they told us to use it until the correct furniture came in and not to worry about spots (my husband was very specific about covering this angle since it was to be used in our family room and we do have kids), and now....we're stuck with the wrong, cheap furniture that they delivered to us by mistake.
I there is a lawyer out there, he should contact all of us and help us file a class action suit since it is the same gimmick they played on all of us.

I live only 5 min from the store in Chicago, and was having coffee next door with my neighbor who needs a whole house of furniture, I said lets just go see what the have you know do a quick walk through. We walk in the door with our coffee in hand and were told that we could not browse with beverages. So we left. How stupid can they be? lets turn them away before we even get them in the door. It wasn't like we were toting tons of food and drink with six screaming kids running around, jumping on everything. We are 40 something mothers (with out kids that day) with money to spend...Idiot's!

The Worst Service! by Kathleen K. at InsiderPages
I purchase a reclining sofa & recliner in April. The sofa seat cushion had a light tear, but I accepted it- I had no choice. The service tech came out a month later - I was told the piece would be replaced in July. Called- 1 girl said it was on time, they would call me. August, I called another girl said it should have been there- she said she was going to schedule it for the following week !!

Here I am in October- I called about every 2 weeks & got a different story. Finally, they said they would replace both cushions and scheduled me for Oct. 15th.

2 idiots come in slammin my furniture into the tv- can't understand what they are saying- the one goes out to the truck and brings in the expert. He says- someone will be here in an hour to install these.. I went off.. Nobody at Harlem told me this- they had unwrapped the cushions looking like they were going to put them on- Sure enough- I get on the phone with Harlem and NOW they tell me that they drop off the parts and I have to schedule a service tech to come out and install.

I said nobody in the past 6 months told me this.. The usual garbage these customer service reps spew- So, I have a couple of unwrapped cushions and a call into the manager. If I listened to these moron drivers, ( as if I would) - I'd be dumber than them and to lie.. And Harlem is totally responsible for who they send out - Wish me luck- never again- I just want a couch without hassle and a song and dance- Stay Away - good furniture- Horrible Service.

Harlem sucks!! by tiffany c. at InsiderPages
I purchased a dining room table, leaf and chairs a few years ago. At the time I had a small dining room table and I could not use the leaf. I have now moved to a new home with a large dining room. Unfortunately the leaf does not fit into my table. I guess I should have checked it when it was first delivered but I assumed it would fit. Harlem says there is nothing they can do because it is now out of warranty. I can't believe there is nothing to be done. They told me to hire someone to fix the problem but I have to pay for it. Thanks for nothing Harlem. Now I have to purchase a new dining room table and chairs. What a waste!!!

worst store ever by mike m. at InsiderPages
they send someone out from the warnty dep. tell me to go get a new bed when the bed is delivered they tell me they wont take the old one and give me the new one i call the warnty dep. and they tell me they are voiding my warnty the delivery people are very rude and dont take there shoes of when it is snowing outside and the sales people have no knowledge of what they are selling.
