Dr Andrew Altman...Dermatology
WOW The Dr. Altman I see is a wonderful doctor. He has been my dermatologist for years now and has been nothing but professional , kind and caring. I travel 40 minutes to see him. Never have I had him push items on me and all my prescriptions were for medicines that I had to pick up at my local pharmacy. I, being in the medical profession myself for years, can not find any reason not to highly rate Dr. Altman.

Try another Doctor
I went to Dr. Altman for over a year for treatment. Everytime, he had some guy that had the demeanor of a "snake oil salesman" come in first and try and sell me their in house products. (shampoos, snake oil products, etc.) Then, his intern would come in and treat me, not even the Dr. himself. Unbelievable. He seldom writes out a straight prescription, instead he's always trying to sell you something that he has, which doesn't happen to work. This guy should be avoided at all costs. Such a shame that people like him give Dr.'s a bad name. I would beware since it seems even his treatments may be his own "homemade" remedies instead of what they might be at another Dr.s. I know because when I went to another Dr. , the treatment he gave me was different but had the same prescription name. Beware!!!

Avoid this swindler if you are looking for quality care!
This is one of the worst doctors I have been to. He misdiagnosed a "rash" on my leg and only prescribed me hydrocortisone. It got much worse as I continued to see him and found out later on by my new doctor that I could have gotten very sick had I continued Dr. Altman's "treatment". Plus, on my very first visit with him, I had to get undressed and was never provided with a gown. To make the matter worse, Dr. Altman left the room while I was still undressed where everyone in the office could see me! Extremely unprofessional and prescribes his own line of expensive yet ineffective products to make him more money. I am writing this so that maybe some people will stear clear of this guy if you value your health and don't want to waste your time and money. There are MUCH better doctors in the area. Choose wisely!
