The quality of the jewelry you get at Schiffman's is a step above the chain jewelry stores. It is family owned and operated and the pride themselves on their knowledge. Some of the name brand things are higher priced than other stores and most of the staff are somewhat unfriendly. However, for custom designed pieces you can't go wrong.

When searching for a place to shop for my engagement ring I had the hardest time.. I couldn't find anything that matched what I had in my head. At the time I worked at a place close to Schiffman's so I stopped by. I talked to a gemologist Jerry. He took the time to explain about jewelry and said they could make anything I had in mind. My now husband took a drawing I had and had it made there. It is extremely beautiful and high quality! They always clean and check the prongs every time i stop by for free. There also was another gentleman that helped us a lot too, but I forgot his name. The store is a family run and is higher end jewelry. The older ladies that work there can come off as snobish but they aren't if you take the time to talk to them. Anyway I highly recommend Schffman's!
