Wide selection, great for costume hunting. In October they stock all the standard Halloween supplies but buy cheaper brands and as a result, have rock bottom prices. Year round you can find used clothes from all time periods so it's always a good source for last minute costume ideas.

Savers is one of those "thrift department stores", and actually has quite a good selection of merchandise that is reasonably priced. The store also has a good selection of vintage items, such as electronics, that are an absolute bargain; case in point: a sega genesis system recently purchased for $2.50.
