Love this library. This library is very well organized. They have large selection of books for children. Every wednesday they have story time for preschool kids. Its conducted very well and my son used to love to go for story time.

The location of this library is also very quite and calm place.

They even have large selection of videos. This library comes under santa clara county library. We can even request an item through web(www.santaclaracountylib.org).

Upon arriving at the Saratoga Library, one is first greeted with a nice little outdoor area for sitting before the entrance. The library itself is structured quite neatly. A nice touch, is that their are library catalogs (electronic of course) scattered throughout the rows of bookshelves so one doesn't have to go to the computer area to search for something. The library is also seperated into sides, upon entering, left is adults i believe, and right for children. The furniture itself is also very nice, and the whole place looks very comforting.

OK first of all, it's always very quiet which is great. They seperated the kids and adult section very well. The library features a large collection of cds which can be burned

All the books are always organized neatly and easy to find. They also have cool plush chairs that sit right in front of the book shelf. Has lots of interesting books which are easy to find. Building is very modern and always kept tidy

Overall, best library in my opinion

This library is nestled in the calm, semi-suburban, fresh-air city of Saratoga, CA. The library is fairly large and recently renovated and expanded. It has free Internet access, laser printers at most computers for free printing (big plus for this library), large selection of movies and audio tapes, CD's to check out, and of course lots of books to check out. Just so you know, this library is so popular and in-demand with the locals that people actually line up 1/2 hour before it opens!

It's a great place to study and read magazines, and surf the Internet, I mean do research on the Internet. Also, there are study rooms for study group use. The library even has a large children's section. There are even computers with Internet access in the children's section...but the chairs there are a bit small.

PROS: Modern library with Internet access, free laser printing, lots of movies and audio to rent, an oh yeah - lots of books.
