My wife, two daughters and I went to the Santa Fe Cafe on a Sunday around lunch time and ordered breakfast. Unfortunately it was so crowded the only booth available was right by the front door which opened at least 50 times while we were there and let a cold breeze in every time. And as it closed, it shut with a loud annoying slam. The food was good, although not especially good or large but still, good. My Eggs Benedict (with canadian bacon) was very tasty and I would order that again. Our waitress forgot to bring us a high-chair but considering how busy it was, I sort of understand. All in all, I nice little coffee shop but without the two-for-one coupon we had today, I probably would try elsewhere next time I'm in the mood for breakfast. By the way, the staff (our waitress) did seem very friendly.‎

Definitely this is the place to eat at in Encinitas downtown. Varied menu so you never get bored. Close to the ocean, so nice breeze, and nice people.We go here for breakfast several times a month as do other regulars and are always pleased.
Diner type atmosphere, really good food.

This is the best breakfast place in North County! They have an extensive menu and the staff is super-nice. The food is very good, but especially the banana/strawberry & cream crepes. They are the BEST crepes I've ever taste. Incredible!!! Also, they are very fast here and I've never had to wait for a table.
