I love martial arts, I believe all kids should be in some form of martial arts, this is a kid friendly studio, great instructors, my son and I are going gor our black belts.

My whole family goes to Santa Clarita Karate. My two sons and I take Karate and my wife does Cardio Kick Boxing. We love it because of the family friendly environment and unlimited class schedule. Kyoshi Michel Laurin, 8th dan and founder of Shorinjiryu Shindo Budo Kwai, teaches many classes. The instructers (senseis) are great - all have come up through the ranks and earned their black belts from SC Karate. You learn techniques, katas, weapons, self defense, full contact sparring, and much more. There are no shortcuts to black belt here. If you want to check out a first class Karate school in the SCV, this is the one. For the adults, come on Tuesday nights between 8-9 to check out the sparring.‎
