I have lived in Arcadia for the past ten years but continue to see my old dentist that is about ten miles away. Decided to check this place out for my annual check-up and see about my wisdom teeth.

The two female receptionist in the wait-room are friendly. I like how they have a comprehensive questionnaire they have you fill out and one of the dentist gave me more information on a night-guard to help me with my grinding at night.

I returned to my old dentist 'cause she gives me a discount on the bill to redo my metal filling for a porcelain filling

But I came here for my oral surgery for the wisdom teeth. I was a bit alarmed at first when the oral surgery assistant said "so your two TOP wisdom teeth" when I really needed my two bottom pulled out (I have no buds for the top). And they also put me completely under with anesthesia which made me want to throw up afterwards. They also require you to have a driver because you will be too drugged up after the surgery (is this standard)?

Anyways I wanted to ask the nurse some questions after the surgery but she replied to my friend "As you can see after the surgery she will become delirious and forget what she just said" when REALLY I couldn't talk cause they stuffed 4 layers of gauze in my mouth and I wanted to ask about my prescriptions. UGH! UGH! I guess I can give her the benefit of the doubt because they only have their oral surgeon come to this dental group once a month so they were completely booked this Saturday so she just wanted me in and out.

I had some questions about my surgery so I walked-in two days later on a Monday and saw Dr. Oktanyan, DDS. He was really friendly and answered all my questions and said I can come in any time to get the food cleaned from the pit where my wisdom teeth was (gross huh?).

Had a simple procedure done and was in pain right after...Dentist was not very attentive to what he was doing! Will NEVER go there again!

I actually like going to the dentist now! I always had phobia due to my childhood experiences. I was very surprised when I walked in to get such a warm welcome. The assistants were very friendly and took my mind off of were I was. Dr. O for being a male has a very pleasant demeanor, most Dr's are very cocky. They have state of the art digital xrays and pictures so you can actually see what you need and why you need it. Dr.O was very informative with my treatment. I would highly recomend this office.
