This is one of my favorite bars to head to on a Thursday or Friday night, even Saturdays can be fun although like Thursday they are a little slower starting up. The bartenders are reall nice and quick to serve your drink, they also usually have some sort of sweet beer special or drink special. Generally I don't come here for food but that isn't half bad either! After 11 they clear out the table and a DJ plays pop music that a lot of drunk people dance too. Always a hilarious time whether you are wasted or not. There is a bit of a younger set here especially on thursdays. This is not a 40+ type of bar, don't come here for bottle service, come here to let loose.

My sister and her boyfriend like to go here to watch baseball. It's walking distance from a lot of great attractions in Mission Beach (the Giant Dipper roller coaster, the Wave, etc). The door and wait staff are very friendly. There is a small outdoor seating area and an upstairs. Also, they have great drink specials. I go for the $10 bottle of J. Roget which comes with a complimentary carafe of OJ. Their tater-tots aren't too bad either! Service can get a little slow when it gets busy like during Padres games. There's usually one bartender and one cocktail waitress downstairs and one bartender upstairs.

The Sandbar is a great little bar right next to the beach in San Diego's Mission Beach. Decent specials and great staff-would highly recommend droppin in for a drink and burger.

The Sandbar Grill is a great place to go during the day and at night. It has a good bar menu and lots of great deals on cocktails. The nightlife is awesome. The people are nice and the bartenders serve quickly.

The review listed by Clouse was not for the Sandbar. The Sandbar Sports Grill does not use wristbands, does not use cheap plastic throw away cups, and does not have a wave machine. Clouse is talking about the Wavehouse. If you are going to give a bad review for a bar, please at least get the name of the bar correct!!!!
