I had the unfortunate opportunity to use San Diego Sunset Vacation Rentals when we recently vacationed in the San Diego area. Unfortunately, the house we rented was nothing like it was advertised. It was suppose to be in an upscale area, but instead, we had transients literally at our front door. The “vacation rental” was filthy. There was evidence of rat droppings in the kitchen cabinets, and the bathrooms looked as though they hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in months. Certainly, for the amount of money that we spent on this place, I would have expected better. The management at SD Sunset Vacation rentals was completely unhelpful. I couldn't wait for our 'vacation' to be over. I will NEVER do business with them again.‎

The place I stayed (See the Sea #10) was poorly maintained -- outdated appliances/electronics, chipped paint, stained bedding, burnt out light bulbs, etc. The place also had a weird smell to it. I'd be trying someone different in the future. ...
