Finished my first year

I just finished my first year at san diego state and i am dissatisfied with my education. The social aspect of college life is a lot of fun. I partied a lot, met a lot of new people, and had a good time but classes were terrible. It all started bad when my first semester I could take an engineering class and a physics class at the same, I needed both, and now I am behind. I do not know how retarded the adminstration has to be to schedule those two classes offered at the same time, of course engineers need physics. Anyway lackluster education, fun atmosphere.

Victim of the economy.

When I first started SDSU in 2007, I had a lot of options to take multiple classes. With the budget cuts in effect and the economy going down.. getting into classes is almost impossible. Students have to scramble and wait list their classes to even have a chance of getting in. The worst part of this school is that they're cutting classes, mainly upper division classes that students need in order to graduate. Its unfortunate that SDSU is like this now. If they could change one thing, I think they should take priority over the students who are in their last semester before they graduate. Other than that, I recommend studying here. They have many majors/minors to choose from and the campus is huge. There is a lot of opportunity for growth and the advisors truly help you with your education and future.

This school is ok but you get what you pay for subsidized education and mediocre classes. There are more party and social events than I care to count none of which I would care to attend. Nothing is geared toward students with families. ...
