San Diego State University Library
While in San Diego I needed to do some research for my thesis, and since I live far away from a decent public library, I decided to check out this library to do research. It has a great selection of academic books, and definitely had most of (if not every book) what I was looking for. The library is well-maintained and has a lot of study space to choose from, and is very quiet if you need a peaceful place to read and write. I believe there was flooding recently, so I don't know how the quality of the library may have been affected, so you might want to call and ask about hours and what not before you go.
