Worst salon experience I've ever had!
I will never go back to this Salon. All I needed was a blonde touch-up. My hair's been dyed blonde for years and nothing like this has ever happened before. Crystal, the lady who did my hair, used a full color, not foils or a cap; she just brushed it into the roots, which I was fine with until my scalp started burning! So she gave me a comb and told me to scratch my head and it would help. She did ask if I wanted her to take the lightener off, but the burning only lasted a couple minutes so I said no. I was really regretting this later. She rinsed the first lightener out and she said it was a little brassy, so she put a toner on it. My roots still turned out so brassy that I told her we had to fix it. She said that we'd just put a stronger lightener on. So she did, and again my scalp burned when she put it on, but it did go away after a couple of minutes. She rinsed the lightener out and again said it was brassy so she used another toner, and this time all of my hair turned out brassy (she had put the lightener through all of my hair this time.) And because the front of my hair was so porous, it had turned GRAY. She started asking the other stylists what she should use. Although two other stylists were working, they had no clients. After talking with one of the other stylists, they came up with another color to try. And this time my hair turned out ORANGE, flat out orange. She wanted to try something else to fix it, but I said no, just make me a brunette. Three tries is plenty for a simple blonde touch-up. I told her I wanted the orange tone gone when she colored it brown and we decided on the lighter color instead of the darker. As she was rinsing the color out, she said "I'm glad we used the darker color, it turned out good." Which it didn't and I asked for the lighter. My hair turned out almost black, with an orange hue. Then she started giving my a lecture about how I needed more than a trim. Well I guess I would after having my hair dyed and toned 5 times in 4 hours. So I told her to take off a little more than a trim. She cut off 3 inches and she tapered the front, which it was not tapered in the first place. It's the WORST haircut I have ever had. I had fairly long hair with lots of long layers. Now it's a lot shorter and choppy. Just sections that don't lay right. It looks horrible. I went in wanting a blonde touch-up on my long hair, and 5 hours later I left as a brunette with choppy, sectioned layers. And my scalp was red and sore from the burning for days. Here's the best part, they charged me $100. There's no question why I was the only customer in the salon for 5 hours; horrible service from incompetent stylists!
