Good vets
We had a dog with diabetes and vets were very good about helping us. We had to put the dog down, but they were good about it and levelled with us on the cost and quality of life. I really appreciated their straightforward and honest assessments.

These people don't care about...
Twice we have taken sick puppies to this place and it was obvious their only goal was to run up the bill regardless of your pet's condition. This last time it was horrible. We took our dog in to find out what was wrong; they carge $260, then call us a few hours later and say "he's dead, want us to burry him?" When we arrived to pick him up they refused to give us any analysis of why they think he may have died and had no sympathy for our grief whatsoever (not even the Vet!). He even ademantly REFUSED to show us the x-rays we paid for - saying it was because of "a law" but when asked which law the vet did not know what to say. Place was so shady and doesn't seem to care about animals. In the end we had to take our dead dog to another animal hospital where they were symathetic, reviewed his tests, and were able to give us an explanation for his sudden death.‎

THESE VETS ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My little puppy Chula escaped from our son's hands and ran into the path of a vehicle. We rushed Chula to Pleasanton Road Animal Hospital even though it was near closing time. The receptionist greeted me as she saw my panicked look and quickly saw that my puppy was injured. Soothing me and quickly escorting me into a room, she had the technician stay with me while she got the doctor. Although Chula was not injured as bad as I first imagined (she had a broken leg and road rash), I was given an estimate for her treatment that would have cost me probably triple had I gone to an animal emergency room instead. Even though we were there after closing, the staff was very kind to our family and we now use them from everything to yearly shots to boarding when we go on vacation. I know that Chula will be taken care of and she loves going there despite the fact that her first impression was a painful one. I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
