LOG CABIN
I was bidding a log cabin demolition in wapakoneta, ohio. I was given Salvage Nation's name and number to call to get a cost on what the logs were worth in salvage. i was told SN was a good company and stood by their quotes. SN informed me the logs were worth $3,000 - $6,000 in salvage and they would pay when they picked them up from the job site. We then lowered our bid $3,000 to demolish the building in an event to be more competitive. After we won the bid, i have spoken to David at SN twice. He informed me the last time, (which has been months ago) he would honor his quote. i have gotten no return phone calls and his voice mail box is always full. regretfully, i would definitely suggest NOT doing business with a company or individual that leads people along and does not make himself available. I gave him the benefit of the doubt when he specfically said "My word is good and i will pay you the minimum i quoted of $3K for the logs". THEY DIDN'T EVEN DO THAT AND I WOULD NOT RISK GETTING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF LIKE WE DID!!
