I first read this review and booked an appointement only to find out that Patty no longer works at this salon. I ended up getting someone else to cut my hair and it was disastrous! Really the worst haircut ever.. I left crying and they didn't seem to care, as long as they got paid. I would highly recommend going somewhere else. There are many, many salons with much better stylists and customer service. BEWARE of who is cutting your HAIR!

I've been to Salon Butterfly a couple times...originally because the stylist I use, Patty, had donated a very generous gift certificate to the Santa Rosa Plateau to help raise money for the third grade education program, which speaks alot about the kind of person she is. But besides being generous and giving back to her community, she does wonderful colour and gives amazing cuts. I have very thin, fine hair and always end up wearing it up to camoflage the bad spots. But Patty gave me an amazing cut, then spent twenty minutes showing me how to do it myself, and I was able to comfortably wear my hair down for the first time in years. She's wonderful! The entire salon is very nicely decorated and very clean. All the staff I encountered were very friendly.
