Heather is a great stylist, despite what a couple of other people have said. She always gives me a great cut and the first time I went to her, she fixed a razor cut that someone gave me, which made my hair look like a mushroom top. The cut was also cheaper than the other place and she was really friendly and did a great job. I highly recommend seeing her if you'd like to go to a friendly stylist who will give you a great cut.

I have been going to Joe at Salon 401 for about 7 years now. He has never let me down. He's also very honest and has a great attitude. His rates are extremely reasonable given his level of experience - believe me, I've paid a whole lot more for a whole lot less and Joe even fixed a big hair disaster when I went to another place to save time. The atmosphere at the salon is always friendly and laid back. I moved about 50 miles from Arcadia and still travel just to keep him as my hair stylist. You can't go wrong with this salon.

salon 401 truly is a great place, I was leary of going to a new place, because i have been a regular customer at another local salon for many year's, However a friend started going to heather after another one of her's had gone to her and had a great experience, so i decided to try her and I was very pleased. The atmosphere was relaxing and all the stylist were very nice, I can't really say it's the cheapest salon in town, but being in sales I know the better product usally is'nt the cheapest one. salon 401 has my business.

I called Salon 401 after reading the reviews and I was scheduled with Heather for highlights and a root touch up, as well as a trim. The place was very comfortable and friendly not intimidating, which some places can be.

I decided to go to this salon based on the wonderful reviews. The 2 stylist that I asked for were booked for the time that I needed, so they gave me to Heather. I was a little nervous cause I had not read her name, but I figured with 20+ great reviews this must be a good salon with wonderful stylist. Little to my knowledge I was wrong. She turned my hair orange, some areas she went far away from my head so it looks like I need to get my color done again, right after I walked out of the salon. I didn't see this when I was there, but when I got home and took a closer look, the areas that were not away from my scalp; are right on my scalp, with redish gold thick lines behind the hilight. DO NOT GO TO HEATHER FOR COLOR!!!!
