Wait staff was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the wine/ food selection. He listened to what we were looking for and recommended the perfect wine and sake. Very fresh sushi and large selection of unique rolls. Habachi grill is available in a secluded wine room separated from the main dining room (great for kids and large groups) and you can watch your food prepared at the sushi bar. Great atmosphere! Would recommend for eveyone!

this is the only japanese place in houston with so many unique rolls! definitely the best sushi place in houston- not only great food, but a great atmosphere and great waitstaff! highly recommended!

If you want some fresh sushi, you'll find it at Sakana. The sushi and sashimi was refreshingly fresh and tasty. The size of the cuts of fish were generous. The service was mediocre, but the ambiance was enjoyably elegant. I will definitely return.

I will be a frequent customer that is for sure. The atmosphere was great, the services was wonderful and the food couldn't have been better or more prompt. It is definitely worth the money. Most meals range from 7.95-10 with great portions. I highly recommend the "box" lunches.
