Poor Customer Service
In the past years, I have driven out of my way to give my business to this family owned operation. Not to mention I purchased my last RV from them .........NEVER AGAIN!! After them having my RV for 5 weeks to perform a minor repair and order a service part - the service part they ordered was incorrect. They would not re-order the correct part without me driving the 30 minutes (one way) to bring them the part back first (fine, I did drive back). Once there, they could not identify what the correct part should be so it could be ordered. Instead they asked that I bring the RV back. Rather than making arrangement to bring the RV back again and then waiting, who knows how long.. I asked to have the part returned at which time the owners daughter stated they would charge me a 20% restocking fee. She could not understand that this logic was wrong - the customer pays 20% for their mistake........That's crazy! Mistakes happen - I was not upset over the mistake. However, the manner in which they handled the mistake was WRONG!
I will never take my RV there for repair/ service again. They lost a customer over lack of Customer Service and Support. What made this matter worse was that for the minimal amount money we are taking about - they would rather lose a loyal customer. This tells me that don't value customers at all - or the person left in charge should not be making business decisions.
All this comes after two days prior - I was discussing with this individual about possibly purchasing another RV from them.....
I will be sure to let my friends (whom also own RVs) know of their practice. It is a shame that those left in charge at RV's 4 Less don't understand helping your customers, helps your business!
