I recently went to Ruth's Chris for a birthday dinner and it was fabulous. They are well known for their steaks and rightfully so. I had the rib-eye which was delicious...cooked perfectly medium rare and they serve it on 500 degree plates to keep it warm throughout the meal, which I especially appreciated. We also had the stuffed mushrooms appetizer which was also amazing, although the scallop appetizer wasn't as impressive. The sides are served family style; we had the creamed spinach (very good ), sweet potato casserole (good but VERY sweet) and the shoestring potatoes (very good). All in all a great meal. It's on the pricey side, but it was totally worth it. The server was also very friendly but remained professional and we had a great time.

Pros : The food was delicious...I recommend the rib eye, lobster bisque, stuffed mushrooms, seafood gumbo, creamed spinach and creme brulee.

Cons : I don't think this is a con, but one person complained that everything was too rich - I think we each consumed at least a stick of butter each! So pace yourself and be prepared...but it's woth every bite!

Price Range : $50 - $100
