Twice this week and once earlier this month I stopped at the Rusty's on Main Street in Norman and tried to order my old favorite, Chunky Monkey, but each time I finally gave up and left without ordering because the service was so slow it just wasn't worth it to me.

Too bad because I really used to enjoy this place.

I went and got a sundae- asked for almonds and chocolate flakes. Sundaes were listed to come with hot fudge, whipped cream, and a cherry. Mine was missing the fudge, which disappointed me. Then my almonds were really salty! I think they bought planters salted almonds and chopped them up. I can't imagine what they were thinking... It was unpleasant.

My boyfriend got a Crimson and Cream and it was delicious. Fortunately, he shared and ate most of mine because he is a garbage disposal.

I'll only go back if the boyfriend wants to.

Most Likely the best place to get icecream in America! I love rusty's custard! it is so good. there strawberry flavor is the best! Employees at the Alameda location are so fun and exciting. The other one not so much. But I dont mind driving across town to get good product and service! You might have to pay out your butt, but i can assure you its worth it!

If you don't want another addiction in your life, then do NOT go to this place. I cannot even describe how smooth, cool and yummy the custard tastes. I was a nay-sayer until I tried and now I'm a believer. Forget mixing anything in, just the custard will be enough!

Rusty's has wonderful frozen custard with lots of toppings to choose from. The management is very gracious and has donated free cones to the kids at our VBS the past 2 years. They are our kids favorite treats!!!
