The food is totally the same as any other Ruby's, which is fine by me. I used to meet friends here when my daughter was younger and the staff was always super nice about it. There's enough buzz where if a kid lets out a scream, then it's no big deal. On occasion you may have to wait, so I would recommend going on the early side of lunch at least. I haven't been for dinner. I always like the milkshakes and now they have these beignets that are out of this world.

This location is next to the parking lot which is convenient and it's easy to eat and then walk into the outlet mall. Stride Rite and other kid friendly stores are nearby.

i used to work at the carlsbad outlets when i was in college and had to find food in a food limited area. its a diner style but the staff is friendly and efficient. for all you oc-ers, its a lot like johnny rockets.

i wouldn't say come here often but once in awhile, its nice to eat here. i like their skinny fries. its yumalicious. did i just seriously just use that word?! wow. watchin too much 30 minute meals episodes.

the calm chowder is good but a bit on the runny side. however, i like their burgers and sandwiches. Come during their anniversary and they have a ruby burger at their anniversary price.

you really can't go wrong here.

The gang decided to hit this place up for their Retro Night - $2.80 for a burger and fries.

We all ordered the burger promo, a black cherry shake, a peanut butter cup shake, and an ice cream sundae.

The burger was OK. Felt the bread was a bit too thick and wanted a more toastier bun. The fries were the thin crispy kind, and were descent. Somewhat limpy but still enjoyed them.

The shakes here are yum - black cherry was good. Although when I tried my friend's PBC shake, it was just TOO MUCH PB!!! Talk about overload!!! The sundae was average. Nothing notable.

I've been here several times for lunch and have had their breakfasts. The omelets are smaller in portion but still are pretty good.

Great place to take the fams. Huge booths for big parties and our party of 6 had a good time taking advantage of the promo.

The service was a bit slow, but our meal was quick and we were out in about an hour.

I love Rubys Diner, the one at the outlet mall is a really good location, i have never had a bad experience here. The staff is really welcoming and i love their outfits :) You have to get a milkshake there next time you go in, they are amazing!

My family has been going to Ruby's Diner for a very long time, even frequenting the one downtown years ago. Always loved their burgers and salads. The atmosphere is always fun and light.
