Went for lunch on a Monday. The bartender was very nice and the beer was great!! I had a hamburger with blue cheese, it was fantastic! Perfect lunch:) Thanks ...

The beer on tap here is good and there is a really cute asian bartender that works here a couple nights a week. Super friendly and has a great attitude. Food is typical bar fare. unremarkable but excellent if you're good and tossed.‎

I love the beer here. The IPA is just great. This is the only place in town you can get a real beer (IPA) for only $2.50 all tuesday. Other breweries have happy hours and even have all day happy hours but none this cheap. The food is good but not great. IMO bar food. I recomend eating across the street at Jacks then come over for some pints. The only thing I hate about this place is they allow people to smoke on the patio. They have ash trays outside which tells me the owner is ok with people smoking right next to my table. An outside smoking area is ok however this is an outside eating area. Come on Glyn get rid of the smoking! It freakin makes me sick! I know the Rubicon is not a fancy restaurant but how many places that have outside dining allow their customers to smoke. One more complaint. Whats up with all the old decor? The tables, chairs and bar stools are the same ones from over 10 years ago. This place seems to be doing well whats up with some new stuff mabey new flooring.‎

This place apparently cannot cook a burger medium rare. I sent it back when it came out well done. They brought me a second well done burger! Very annoying. Quality of meat also mediocre. Beer was just okay. Thumbs down!! ...

I went there not once, but twice at lunch time. I've always wanted to try it, so I took my mother there. I had a full hour for lunch and the first time, we were greeted by a waitress, who was really nice at first, then came off to be super depressed. It took 45 minutes to get our food. We thought that maybe she was just having a bad day, so we tipped her and I was 20 minutes back late from lunch. The burger I had was good, but it was not worth waiting all of that time for it. So, we decide to give it another shot. We go in there again today, sit down and a girl that was training took our order. We specifically told her that we only have a certain amount of time, could we get our appetizer for here and our lunch to go? She said sure. What do you know, 20 minutes later our appetizer shows up! So, we're thinking, great, hopefully our food is right behind it oh no. Nearly 50 minutes later, our simple burger orders showed up. I was again, 20 minutes late back to work. When we told the waitress (the one who was training our original waitress) that it took so long, she rolled her eyes at us then very rudely said "sorry" and THAT WAS IT! No sympathy, no "I'm sorry", no excuse, however she did smirk at me. I mean other people in the place that came in the place WAY after us, got their food first. BTW- The only person that seemed to care about customers was the guy. None of his customers seemed unhappy at all.

And- I'm telling everyone I know. I actually just told a co-worker of mine who decided to share a bad story herself. Got horrible service there and so she left a tip, but it was small, so the waitress chased her out and demanded a tip! Who does that!

I hope that management reads this. I've worked in the food service industry before, and this is not the way to function!!!!
