I had severely injured my back and spine a long time ago. I was hospitalized for a month. I later underwent a laminectomy. I nursed it along for years until the pain became unbearable. So I have a friend who is an orthopedic surgeon and a professor at USC. He said, Why don’t you go and see Dr. Rosen, he’s the best in the business. He said he started the whole department down there, he’s a highly regarded, and he’ll tell you the truth. And the first time I met with Dr. Rosen I just felt comfortable and I had confidence in him. I was crippled before so the spinal fusion Dr. Rosen did affected my quality of life immensely. He said I was one of the best results he’s ever had. I’m still having pain but he told me it will be about a year so maybe I’m impatient, maybe it will be a year and a half, maybe it will be 6 months more. Compared to where I was, I think he did a wonderful job.

Dr. Rosen worked on my left knee a long time ago, and he also repaired a rotator cuff on my right shoulder about 5 years ago. Ive been going back to him for my back and check-ups for quite some time.
I cant tell you how long Ive been with him - he was barely starting his practice when I first went to him - and this was maybe 25 years ago. My other orthopedic retired and recommended him if I remember correctly. The best thing is that Dr. Rosen fixed me, that I could use my arm and my shoulder and that I was functional again, but my greatest faith in him came from the way he took care of my wife and her back. She had major, major back surgery but shes doing fine. His work is good; hes a friendly person and he cares about you and makes you feel at ease. Hes professional in a down to earth way. Hes not the type to talk down to you; he tells you the way it is so you can understand it, not with all these fancy medical terms. And its your decision because he doesnt twist your arm or use scare tactics. Weve reccomended him to all kinds of people and we will continue to do so. I only wish he was doing everything again and not just backs because if he could fix my ankle Id be there in a heartbeat.

Dr. Rosen, has done surgery on several of my family members. Many years ago he operated on my shoulder. He has always done just a good job for everybody in my family that he has taken care of. He has a great sense of humor … just very good with people. That man is more fun than a barrel of monkeys! My end results are Great … Just Great! I would go back to him … Yes … and I would refer him.
