Very Good Doctor by Marla G. at InsiderPages
I guess almost every hospital (human or pet hospital) will have some wait that we have to withstand to see the Doctor. But I was very impress with Dr. Grant. she was so detail and specific to responding to my concern about my beautiful baby boy. She exam my pet and quickly told me what we needed to do. after Blood work and Xrays; I have to say, I was impress. She told me We have to do two blood works and one set of Xrays; I hope is not what I think it is, but if it is what I suspect it to be, We will have to do surgery as soon as possible. and she was right. My baby boy had bladder Stones... I have to thank Dr. Grant for saving my baby boy and for couping with my frustration... Thank you

Smooth Transition by Melanie V. at InsiderPages
I have taken my cats to this facility for well over twenty years. I was sorry to see Dr. Mitchell leave, but Dr. Grant proved to be a lovely, caring person with whom I have been most satisfied as a replacement. When I questioned why I should suddenly need to have my cat anesthetized for the cleaning of his gums and teeth TWICE since she took over, as this procedure had never before been recommended for any of my cats, or why the cost of doing so should have skyrocketed from one time to the next, she was kind enough to take as much time as I needed to address my concerns. When I brought to her attention the fact that, the supplies I needed were often unavailable when I stopped by to purchase them, she took immediate action to remedy the situation.

Not a good vet!!!! Not anymore!!!!!!!
Very inpersonal and inaccurate, as well as not customer friendly, If you ask for records reguarding your pets history of treatment they act as if your not allowed to see this information when actually they dont wish you to see thier unorganized mess of information.
Find any place else. eventually they will let you down here!

AVOID THIS VET, WORST EXPERIENCES
Do NOT take your loved ones to this vet.I began taking my chihuahua (Spot) to this vet a years ago when Dr. Mitchell and his vet techs were all so great (they even made personal follow up calls over the weekend).Since he has retired, Grant has taken over, and I cannot express the dissatisfaction with this vet.I tried to stick it out, trusting Dr. Mitchell's decision to hand his clientele to Grant but after several visits,I have never left this vet happy. All of Dr. Mitchell's vet techs have left and since been replaced with amateur employees(one is allergic to animals). They will leave you waiting to get an answer about every simple question from the doctor (they have little knowledge about pet medicine and treatment).Expect to wait for over 30 minutes even with a set appointment. The costs of treatment and medication has more than doubled in just the last few years. And Grant has her own policy where she will not write up prescriptions unless she cannot supply the medication through her own vet.She wants to play the role of doctor and pharmacist, where obviously she is trying to make some money through every opportunity.I went for a $30 regular office exam, and $150 later (just for some bloodwork and the cost for a copy of the results),I was presented with 5 different types of medication that could only be bought right then and there. The doctor would not write any prescriptions for any of the medications.I decided it was time to find another vet for Spot,as all I can see were money signs througout this entire vet.

Growing Pains by shari h. at InsiderPages
My animals have been patients at this hospital since we moved to La Mirada (25 years ago). Dr. Mitchell retired, Dr. Grant-Clay is the new veterinarian in charge. The hospital has been remodeled and to be sure there have been a lot of growing pains along the way. It seems that the number of people going to the clinic has also grown exponentially. Yes, I have had to wait for appointments myself several times. I have not had any issues with pricing, although in the beginning it seemed the office manager did not really have a good handle on things. It appears that aspect has improved and everyone knows more of what they are doing now.

I don't work (disabled) so having to spend time waiting (and chatting with new friends in the waiting room) is not always an issue for me. Getting caring, compassionate, qualified care for my furchildren is. I will be sticking with this hospital. They have made a lot of positive changes and I look forward to things only getting better.
