Rose Canyon Animal Hospital is the vet that I take my golden retriever puppy to get his shots and checked up. After lots of research of vets in San Diego, I decided to try them out after all the rave reviews. I was not disappointed. Dr. Michaels and his staff are tremendous pet lovers and are nothing short of exceptional. They made our puppy feel right at home, he wasn't even scared at all! They have different treats to give to the pets after doing a good job following shots. I would definitely recommend them to any pet owner in San Diego!

Dr. Michael and his staff at Rose Canyon Animal hospital are simply the best. Since moving to San Diego 4 years ago, I have gone to 2 different Vets before one of my friends recommended Rose Canyon to me. I used to have a great vet in my old town and have had trouble meeting a Vet in San Diego who's personable, who took time to really check out my Dog, and who didn't rush me right in and right out of the Exam room. When I went into Rose Canyon Animal Hospital for the first time I pleasantly surprised. Their staff was extremely friendly and within 5 minutes of me arriving, they had already weighed my dog, a Vet Tech had done an initial check up on him, and they moved me right into an exam room to have Dr. Michael look at my pet (at the other Hospitals, I waited on average 30 mins before I got to see the Vet). Dr. Michael was extremely friendly and took the time to really examine my dog. He didn't push Dog Medications (like heartworm) on me like the other Vets did (other Vets act like Used Car Sales men and try to push product), rather he made suggestions about Medication's and was honest to me about the cost and whether it was really truly worth it or not to put my dog on it. At the end of the day, Dr. Michael's is a very knowledgeable, honest and personable Vet. I've been back for 4 check up's with my dog this past 3 years and have had nothing but the best service every time. You couldn't find a better Vet or Staff.

What a great place. The are professional but also very kind with you pets.

I took my old cat a couple times in the last few months to Dr Michael and he was wonderful. The office is older looking but who cares when the Drs and staff are awsome. Dr Michael is gentle and has great communication skills. You feel that he really cares and never is rushed.‎

We have taken our dogs to Dr. Michael since before he was a vet and was working as a tech at Clairmont Animal Clinic, over twenty years ago. When the clinic moved to Rose canyon, we followed. We live in Ramona now, where there is not a decent vet, so we go to Rose Canyon just to see Dr. Michael. We trust him completely.‎
