Dr. Ponder & his staff provide a wonderful, caring service, provided full information, answered all questions, & truly provided service that exemplified their true caring nature for all pets. Highly recommended.
I recently made the decision it was time to change vets, and tried Dr. Ponder & his staff (after some research & considering reviews posted on other sites) when a pet was critically ill. Now, I only wish I had made the move to change sooner! We have MANY pets, & I have read NUMEROUS reference books on veterinary care for the pets, and after a few visits to Dr. Ponder's office, I feel I have finally found the ultimate combination of knowledge, skill and caring.

Took my sick dog here and they over charged me and when my dog didnt get better I took him to the emergency room in Ryan Ranch and they found what really was wrong with my dog. They refuse to give me a refund!!!! The Vet in Romie Lane does not know what he is doing.!!!

Our cat, Jinx disappeared for 19 days. He was found in a shed that he wondered into. He did not have food or water for that entire time and was near death. We took him to Dr. Ponder who never gave up on him. He kept Jinx with him through the night and pulled him through. That was 2 years ago and Jinx is healthy as ever...doesn't leave home....
Dr. Ponder has an unbelievable knack for determining what is ailing your pet, even the not so obvious. We also have a golden retriever, Sally. Sally wasn't feeling well and Dr. Ponder found out quickly what the problem was and had to perform surgery right away. Sally is now 10 and 1/2 and doing well. His entire staff is caring, loving and responsible. They know how much our pets mean to us and care for them as we would. They go out of their way to make sure your pet as well as you are comfortable and cared for.

I would greatly recommend going here. Dr. Ponder & Dr. Enriques are great! i used to work there but have since moved to Long Beach, my mom kept my cat and my sister takes her cat and mine to see Dr. Ponder. Great place, Caring staff and historic building!
