This spot is a lifesaver for late night snacks. It even has a handy atm machine to boot. :)

Sure, there's a Krispy Kreme nearby (Daly City); but if you want something sweet with less grease and shorter lines, this is where you need to go.

They are a 24hr establishment with a parking lot in front.

Nothing in this world can compare to such greatness than the juicy, thickness of RPD. I am tremendously greatful for them staying open for so many years, as I still recall my youthful moments endulged in the same quality driven business. The only difference is that it opens 23/7, and that has made things even better for the Bay Area. I cannot count how often I have introduced many whom have lost their way in the HYPE of chain shops which claim to have real donuts but (i.e. K/K) but comes out with just a thin piece of dough. All of the other shops do not compare when it comes to the chocolate poured over the donuts @ RPD, so whyu is there even a discussion of comparison/quality.

When my sister and I were very small, we attended Dance Theatre Workshop right up the street and looked forward to the end of class when we would walk to Rolling Pin Donuts and watch and smell our donuts being made. I've moved out of state and have tried a few others like Crispy Creme and were very disappointed. They tasted like air donuts with little substance compared to Rolling Pin. They're truly the best...

My husband and I go out of our way to go to this Rolling Pin Donuts. They have a really good chocolate coating for their chocolate donuts and are otherwise really fresh and delicious!

wow i could survive off rolling pin donuts! they are always fresh and delicious and not disgusting like krispy kreme's. their donuts taste homemade and oldfashoined. they make really big donuts, so bring a friend and share one!

PROS: fresh, delicious donuts and big portions
CONS: well, big portions can be a bad thing too...
