I sent both of my children to Rogers Park Montessori School through 6th grade and each of them had a wonderful experience. The thoughtful manner in which the teachers teach and care for the children is amazing. In addition to learning the core academics I am most proud of the way in which my children (both teenagers now) learned how to be independent learners and workers. Equally important (to me) is the fact that they are leaders in both of their peer groups, have terrific problem solving skills and genuinely are concerned about the fairness and equanimity of how others are treated. They were taught how to respect themselves and others and very importantly how to take care of our earth - care of the environment. These skills will carry them through life. They are confident, smart, funny and caring. Not only was this an incredible learning environment for my kids, I have to say I learned quite a bit as well!!!

We have been a part of the RPMS community for 3 years, and we are so happy and grateful for all that they to in nurturing our kids and our parenting. The teachers are amazing and the new facility is state of the art. The curriculum and decision making are entrenched in the Montessori philosophy. Our kids are learning to be thoughtful, conscientious and excited learners. The parent population is wonderful- intelligent, stimulating, interesting and NOT stuffy. A great place to be!
