Located in Silverlake, Rockaway records is one of my favorite record shops. They have a vast collection of vinyl records, imports, new and used CDs as well as used DVD's. In addition, they buy and sell rare collectibles like LP's, posters, magazines, etc. If you're ever in Silverlake, make sure to stop by Rockaway.

This large independent store carries music and memorabilia from every era. TI love their classic rock selection, which includes bands like The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and the Beach Boys. The prices can run high for some of the collectibles, but the quality of some of the very rare goods is the best around.

This place used to offer an awesome used CD selection, and they used to give you the best price for a used CD. In the last few years, though, the bins are filled with endless promo copies of has-been bands and one-hit wonders.
